Stories of the early life of Virginia boys in the times of Washington, and Jefferson, and Madison, and Henry are always interesting, and to the historical novelist this is a wide field. Not the least interesting chapters of this book are: Christmas at Greenway Court; The Wolf Hunt; The Virginia Wild Man, and Washington's Perilous Journey to Fort Duquesne.
